Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe inspires two uniquely fragrant, filling, juicy and tasty meals. Hitting our bodies from inside, Italian artist and genuine gastronome Giuseppe Licari provides food to carve open souls and bring us closer together.

Sandwich, as we understand it nowadays, was named in the 18^th century, after the 4^th Earl of Sandwich, a historic town on the River Stour, at the south east coast of England.  The Lord of Sandwich didn’t want to leave the gambling table during his long playing day and for this reason he asked his servants to bring him two slices of bread with a slice of meat in between. The gambling friends of Earl John Montagu getting hungry in seeing their friend enjoying his meal, asked the servants to be served the same dish calling it sandwich as the town’s name. And so, the sandwich was born.

Come Sunday 22nd of July at the Arcades of NAI to dream about and create an edible urban landscape!

consisting by performative happenings. If you want to know more about

RAW is a new art fair in the city of Rotterdam: young, fresh and different, which will take place from the 8th to the 12th of February 2012.
