Green Tomato


2 kg green tomato

800 gr sugar

2 oranges

1 lemon juice

2 slides of ginger

10 gr of pectin


Cut the tomatoes, the oranges and the ginger in small pieces. Mix everything with the sugar, add the lemon juice and bring to boil.  Keep cleaning the mix from the foam that creates on top. When the sugar is completely melted and the mix reached a good consistence, add the pectin and keep cooking and stirring for other 10 minutes. Fill the pots, close immediately and let them cool down.
